Job Description

Madden Industrial is seeking a skilled Apartment Remodeler / Facility Maintenance Technician for temporary-to-hire and short-term assignments. These positions are responsible for completing apartment unit renovations, remodels, turnovers, repairs, work orders, and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with apartment repairs, renovations, and general maintenance tasks while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. The position will work closely with the Community Manager and Maintenance Manager to complete assigned duties, projects, and property improvement needs. •Shift Monday - Friday 8am - 5:00pm •Must pass a background check in accordance to family housing
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks in apartments and common areas, including: Plumbing (e.g., fixing leaks, unclogging drains) Electrical (e.g., replacing outlets, troubleshooting lighting) Carpentry (e.g., door repairs, cabinetry fixes) Appliance repair and replacement Dry wall patching and texture
Painting:
interior with roller, brush or spray Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (turnovers/make-readies) Complete resident service requests/work orders promptly and professionally Assist with groundskeeping duties as needed (e.g., trash pickup, snow removal) Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations Communicate effectively with residents, coworkers, and property management
Qualifications:
2+ years of maintenance experience in residential, commercial, or multifamily housing preferred Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair Reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in various conditions
Pay:
$28.00 - $30.00 per hour
