Facilities Maintenance Technician Type:
Full-Time, Temporary ( This is a temporary assignment with duration currently unknown.)

Bothell Pay:
$22-$25 per hour,
DOE Shift:
Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts Possible schedules include 7:00AM-3:30PM or 8:00AM-4:30PM Job Details This position is responsible for performing basic maintenance and repair tasks that include the upkeep and maintenance of the facility and assisting with various facility improvement projects. This role supports facility operations by helping maintain equipment, production areas, office spaces, and building systems in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities Assists with routine building inspections to ensure equipment and systems are operating efficiently Completes assigned work orders in a timely manner Supports preventive maintenance tasks on equipment such as air compressors, cooling towers, HVAC units, generators, plumbing, sewer systems, lighting, perimeter fencing, and other facility equipment Transports materials and equipment to and from work areas using powered industrial equipment Collaborates with team members on facility improvement and renovation projects May perform service work on ceiling-height utilities using scissor lift equipment Assists in the installation of new equipment or systems as needed Assists in maintaining office and production areas including painting, cleaning, tidying up, and operating floor sweepers/scrubbers Helps repair or move machines, machine parts, and equipment Maintains cleanliness and organization in shop and work areas Cleans machines, facility infrastructure, and machine parts using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Assists electricians with preparing and installing conduit, wire, and cabling Assists contractors with projects and assigned work Assists with emergency repairs and outside service providers as needed Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment Ensures compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations Assists with preparing areas for meetings and events Qualifications / Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year technical degree preferred MUST be able to pass a drug screening and background check One year of manufacturing experience preferred Previous facility maintenance experience preferred Ability to work effectively with employees across multiple departments and levels Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities Self-motivated and able to complete tasks with proper direction Ability to operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts and aerial lifts with training Ability to perform routine maintenance and identify maintenance needs Ability to interpret gauges, dials, and indicators to ensure equipment is functioning properly Ability to use common hand and power tools Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Physical Demands Requires standing, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, pulling, and pushing Requires eye/hand/foot coordination Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Work may be performed in manufacturing and production environments with varying temperatures and noise levels Benefits Available to
