First Pay Range:
$25-35/hr based on experience If you enjoy working with your hands, troubleshooting equipment, and keeping facilities operating safely and efficiently, this could be a great fit. In this role, you'll primarily maintain and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment (MHE) while also supporting building and facility maintenance to ensure the operation runs smoothly. What You'll Do Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on forklifts and other material handling equipment (MHE) Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on forklifts and warehouse equipment Complete routine building maintenance, including repairs to doors, docks, lighting, plumbing, and other facility systems Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on both equipment and facility assets Perform basic inspections and minor refrigeration repairs (training provided as needed) Complete work orders and accurately document maintenance activities Communicate equipment and facility status with the maintenance team and leadership Safely operate lifts and use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs What We're Looking For At least 1 year of hands-on maintenance experience or a combination of maintenance experience and trade/technical school Experience maintaining forklifts, material handling equipment (MHE), and commercial or industrial buildings is preferred Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Ability to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment with minimal supervision Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment Basic computer skills for completing work orders and documenting repairs Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment Work Environment Work in a cold storage warehouse (temperatures as low as -20°F ) or other warehouse environments (up to 100°F ). All freezer gear and PPE are provided. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds . Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts as needed.
