Everett, WA About the Position We are a conveyor contracting and building maintenance company based in Vancouver, WA. We are looking for an experienced, dependable Maintenance Technician / Welder to join our team. We are hiring for a temporary position in Evertte, WA. This employee will be performing conveyor maintenance and repairs, welding and fabrication, equipment repairs, and general building maintenance. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with tools, solving problems, and tackling a variety of maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have strong maintenance and welding experience and be able to step into the position with little to no training required. Responsibilities Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on conveyor systems and related equipment Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding as required Fabricate, modify, and repair metal components and conveyor equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment and machinery Perform preventative maintenance to help keep equipment operating safely and efficiently Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical issues as needed Perform general building maintenance and repairs at customer facilities Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other shop equipment Respond to equipment breakdowns and maintenance needs in a timely manner Assist with installation, modification, and repair of conveyor systems Work safely and professionally at a variety of customer facilities Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow company and customer safety procedures Complete maintenance and repair work efficiently and with quality workmanship Qualifications Previous maintenance experience is required Experience with conveyor systems is highly preferred Experience with fabrication and metal repair Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience with general building or facility maintenance is a plus Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Reliable, dependable, and hardworking Good communication skills and a professional attitude Safety-conscious and committed to quality workmanship Must be able to perform the majority of job duties with little to no training
Pay:
$18.00 - $28.00 per hour
