In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs with precision. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to the seamless operation of our organization. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning units, and related mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct appliance repair and installation for kitchen equipment including ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators, and other appliances. Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and service manuals to diagnose issues accurately. Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks. Maintain detailed records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities following operational procedures. Collaborate with team members to lead maintenance projects and ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes. Experience Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician in a commercial or industrial environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing mechanical systems such as HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration). Familiarity with appliance repair, installation procedures, and kitchen equipment maintenance. Experience working with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies and tools. Ability to operate construction equipment or tools related to building maintenance is a plus. Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Leadership qualities that enable guiding junior team members or leading small projects effectively. Pay:
$17.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
