Job Description
We're looking for someone to help keep our Clean Spot car wash locations running. This is a multi-site, hands-on position , and the work changes from day to day. We have locations in Marysville, Stanwood and Sultan. One day you may be working on an electrical issue. The next you might be helping the owner with a project, replacing a hose, troubleshooting equipment, picking up parts, or driving to another location because something needs attention. You'll also help with the day-to-day operation of the sites when needed: including employees, customers, supplies, and general upkeep. What You'll Do Travel between Clean Spot locations as needed Troubleshoot and repair car wash equipment Handle basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and maintenance work Replace hoses, fittings, pumps, valves, and other components Diagnose problems and determine what needs to be repaired or replaced Perform preventative maintenance Help the owner with repairs, installations, upgrades, and other projects Pick up and transport parts, equipment, and supplies Keep equipment rooms and wash areas functioning properly Monitor chemicals and supplies Help employees troubleshoot problems Deal with customer issues when needed Help with hiring, training, or site coverage when needed Coordinate outside repairs or contractors when a job requires it Respond to occasional equipment problems or call-outs This is not a desk job and not a single-location manager position. You may start the day at one Clean Spot and end it at another. Car wash experience is not required. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, construction, maintenance, or other trade experience is strongly preferred. We'll teach you the car wash equipment. Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to travel between locations Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all seasons Able to pass a background check and drug screening Willing to get dirty and work directly on equipment Pay Competitive hourly pay based on experience, plus additional call-out pay when applicable. This job is for someone who wants a varied, hands-on role and is comfortable going wherever the work needs to be done that day.
