A Building and General Maintenance Technician performs building maintenance and appliance repairs for an apartment complex, housing division, residential center or business, as directed by a property manager.

Pay:
$19.00-$20.00 per hour (DOE) Responsibilities Complete maintenance work orders in occupied apartments Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (apartment turns) Drywall repair, patching, texturing, and painting Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs Repair and replace fixtures, appliances, doors, locks, windows, and flooring HVAC maintenance and minor repairs (experience preferred) Landscaping and grounds maintenance Preventative maintenance throughout the property Maintain a clean, safe, and attractive community Follow company safety policies and procedures Qualifications Previous maintenance, apartment maintenance, construction, handyman, or facilities maintenance experience preferred HVAC experience or certification is highly preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) applicants are strongly encouraged to apply. Hiring preference may be given to qualified bilingual candidates. Experience with drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues efficiently Professional customer service and communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Valid driver's license Why Join Vineyard Apartments?
