Job Description

Overview The CB's Nuts Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the integrity of production equipment and facilities in a conscientious and reliable manner consistent with good manufacturing practices and company standards. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Efficiently perform regular and preventative maintenance related to the plant, equipment, and grounds in compliance with standard operating procedures, good manufacturing practices, and safety policies as enforced by OSHA. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of mechanical, some electrical knowledge, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment during the production process as needed. Test, maintain and evaluate equipment performance. Perform troubleshooting, repair or updating and installation of equipment. Ensure equipment is operating properly and safely. Maintain tools and machinery in good condition and use all tools carefully and as instructed. Complete and update work orders as per company standards. Complete and maintain routine and preventive records and logs as per standard operating procedures. Collaborate and work closely with production to minimize downtime while maintaining quality. Execute cleanup and maintenance of your work area and equipment. Maintain working knowledge of all plant area processes. Communicate with supervisor regarding task assignment, task completion and deviation from task schedule. Report food safety and sanitation problems to supervisor and/or personnel with authority to initiate action. Update and create Equipment & Facility Maintenance related Standard Operating Procedures as needed and/or directed by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
Maintenance experience in Warehouse and/or food production preferred but not required. Operate equipment properly and safely with a commitment to safety at all times. Working knowledge of welders, mills, torches, power tools, hand tools and is eager to learn about specific production equipment. Use of logic, reasoning and troubleshooting skills relative to equipment and facility repairs. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and understand technical manuals. Organize and maintain workshop area with tools, parts, and supplies for onsite maintenance and repair. Communicate effectively and efficiently both verbally and in writing with managers and colleagues. Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work. Ability to work in a team environment and/or independently with minimal supervision, adapt to changing environment quickly and think independently.

a strong desire to execute area of responsibility with excellence. Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and work to maintain constructive working relationships. Excellent attendance. Reliable transportation.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift and move product and objects comfortably weighing up to 50 lbs. Frequently required to walk and stand; climb or balance; bend, kneel, stoop, or crouch; reach, push, and pull. Good hand/eye coordination.
Job Type:
Part Time, On Call as needed
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's Degree in a related maintenance or technical field preferred. Minimum of 2 years related experience required. Pneumatic and hydraulic equipment experience preferred.
Pay:
From $22.00 per hour
