Facilities Maintenance Technician

Facilities Maintenance Specialist (Multi-Site) Job Overview Are you a Jack (or Jill)-of-all-trades who enjoys working indoors and outdoors while taking pride in a well-maintained property? We are looking for a proactive Facilities Maintenance Specialist to oversee the upkeep of two parking facilities. You will be the "eyes and ears" on the ground, ensuring our interior and exterior spaces remain clean, safe, and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities Site Inspections:

Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure a premium environment; proactively identify and report maintenance needs (e.g., fencing issues, debris removal, or safety hazards).

Mechanical & Technical Repairs:

Maintain and repair specialized parking equipment, including entry/exit gate arms.

General Handyman Services:

Execute interior repairs including drywall patching, hardware installation (locks/handles), and basic plumbing (fixture replacement).

Grounds & Landscaping:

Manage seasonal and permanent landscaping projects, ensuring the lots have great "curb appeal" year-round.

Fencing & Security:

Perform regular maintenance and installations of perimeter fencing to keep the site secure.

Reporting:

Maintain clear lines of communication with management regarding project status and supply needs.

Cleaning :

While not a huge focus of the job you must be willing to do cleaning tasks. This may be areas where customers visit, such as the lobby or the bathrooms, or outdoor areas that need pressuring washing.

Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Versatility:

Troubleshooting skills across electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Tool Proficiency:

Expert-level comfort with hand tools, power tools, and standard landscaping equipment.

Self-Starter Mentality:

Ability to work independently and manage a "to-do" list across two locations without constant supervision.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to be on your feet, walk the lots daily, and perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

Pay:

$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
