    • and are looking for a dependable, hands-on, and guest-focused Maintenance Technician to join our opening team. As a
    • Maintenance Technician,
    • you will play an important role in keeping our new hotel safe, comfortable, clean, and operating at its best. This is an exciting opportunity to join the property from the beginning and help establish high standards for maintenance, preventative care, and guest satisfaction.'
    • What You'll Do
    • + Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, offices, and back-of-house areas.
    + Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests. + Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, appliances, doors, locks, furniture, and other hotel equipment. + Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and hotel facilities to identify maintenance needs. + Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to hotel schedules and standards. + Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests, repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance. + Assist with maintaining hotel equipment and systems in good working condition. + Keep mechanical, maintenance, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe. + Coordinate with outside contractors and service providers when specialized repairs are required. + Monitor and report safety hazards, equipment issues, and potential property concerns. + Assist with seasonal maintenance, exterior upkeep, and general property appearance. + Support other hotel departments as needed. + Follow all hotel, brand, OSHA, and safety procedures.
    • What We're Looking For
    • + Previous hotel maintenance, facilities, apartment maintenance, building maintenance, or related experience preferred.
    + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. + Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance. + Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance requests. + Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a property. + Professional and courteous communication skills. + Ability to interact positively with guests and team members. + Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent service. + Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when needed. + Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull, climb, bend, kneel, and work from ladders as required. + Opening Team Opportunity + Joining our team before opening means you'll have the opportunity to help establish the maintenance culture and standards of a brand-new hotel.
