Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Window/Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and installation, with the ability to work efficiently on-site. This role involves installing various types of windows and doors, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as a solid understanding of construction practices. There will be room to as there is other positions upcoming. Duties Install windows and doors according to specifications and blueprints. Perform glass installation, ensuring proper sealing and insulation. Execute door hanging tasks with precision. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks. Conduct heavy lifting as necessary during the installation process. Read schematics and blueprints to determine project requirements. Collaborate with team members on construction site activities. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Engage in trim other home renovations and installation, and frame carpentry as needed. Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting during installations. Participate in remodeling projects, including fixture installation and metal stud framing. Demonstrate locksmithing skills when required for door installations. Requirements Proven experience in window and door installation or related fields such as construction or carpentry. If no experience and motivated and a hard worker we can train Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read blueprints/schematics. Experience with heavy lifting and physical labor on construction sites. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. Previous maintenance person experience is advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
