Job description Garage Door Installer/Technician We are growing, be a part of our growing family! Blackhawk Garage Door is a family owned company with major market presence in Western Wisconsin and the Twin Cities. We specialize in Residential/Commercial garage doors and Garage Floor Coatings. Blackhawk Garage Door is seeking a full-time experienced garage door technician/installer to add to our residential and commercial door division. You will be working with builders, commercial clients and homeowners to install, maintain and repair Garage Door Systems.
Garage Door Installer/Technician Responsibilities:
- Use of company truck to get to and from customer homes with all necessary materials from the shop.
- Tear down and install residential garage doors, garage door openers, and related components.
- Service and install overhead doors for commercial and residential.
- Troubleshoot problems, provide solutions and discuss these with the client in a professional manner.
- Interact with customers providing excellent customer service.
Garage Door Installer/Technician Qualifications:
- Garage door installation and repair experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and excellent attendance record
- Ability to deliver superior customer service
- Committed to maintaining high-quality standards
- Valid Driver's License in good standing
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Basic mechanical skills
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
