Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering & Facilities team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong technical abilities and a commitment to keeping our resort operating safely, smoothly, and efficiently. This role supports daily maintenance operations, repairs, preventive programs, and special projects across the property. This is a mid shift position working shifts from 12pm
- 8:30pm with Sunday and Monday off Responsibilities Perform routine and emergency maintenance on resort buildings, equipment, and systems Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues Complete preventative maintenance tasks as assigned by the Chief Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor Assist with pool and spa maintenance, including water testing and equipment care Support groundskeeping, winter operations, and seasonal facility needs Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and issues identified Ensure all work follows safety regulations, resort standards, and industry best practices Provide excellent internal customer service to staff and departments requesting assistance Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours situations as needed Qualifications Previous experience in building maintenance, facilities, or a related trade Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple disciplines (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC) Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Basic computer knowledge for work order systems and documentation Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
