Floor Technician

Floor Technician More Than a Job — Creating a Safe, Clean, and Comfortable Home At The Gardens, our Floor Techs play an important role in maintaining a clean, polished, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and team members. This position helps ensure that floors and common areas throughout the community remain safe, sanitary, and visually appealing while supporting infection control and overall resident satisfaction. What You'll Do Perform daily floor care and cleaning throughout the facility Vacuum carpets and deep clean high-traffic areas Strip, wax, buff, scrub, and clean floors and carpets Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary common areas Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely Handle cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines Complete scheduled cleaning tasks and report maintenance or safety concerns Follow infection control and sanitation procedures Work with housekeeping and maintenance teams to support a welcoming environment Assist with additional cleaning duties and emergencies as needed What You'll Need Previous floor care, housekeeping, custodial, or environmental services experience preferred High School diploma or equivalent preferred Knowledge of floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners Ability to follow instructions, schedules, and safety procedures Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Basic math skills for measuring cleaning solutions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing equipment, and moving throughout the workday Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and visitors in a professional and respectful manner Why Team Members Choose The Gardens Weekly pay for less stress between paychecks Competitive pay Annual wage increases Flexible scheduling Career growth opportunities Employee recognition and rewards Supportive leadership, training, and teamwork Make a Meaningful Impact — Apply Today Join our team at The Gardens and help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the residents we serve every day.
