Job Description

Maintenance Technician Work for an industry leading casting manufacturer with a highly-competitive compensation and benefits package.

  • Full-Time Work Hours (Shift)
  • 12 Hour Days or Nights 6:00-6:00, 2-2-3 work week or 8 hour Shifts Available Starting Pay
  • Depends on Experience $30-35/hr, 7% Shift Premium for Night Shift Benefits

  • High school diploma or
HSED/GED

equivalent preferred. Required Experience

  • Must possess good computer skills and be able to learn new skills as needed.

As a key member of the maintenance team, you will play a cr ucial role in maintaining and enhancing the functionality of our facilities and equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools Fabricates repair parts with machine shop instrumentation and equipment using basic machinist skills. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments Controls downtime by scheduling with supervisors and technicians routine preventive maintenance techniques Operate an electric cart, forklift, articulating boom, and manlift Melt/Rough Clean Technician Comply with all safety and health guidelines, quality standard practices Detect sounds from equipment for proper functioning (ex: listen for abnormal sounds of equipment such as blades on cutting saw, grinding sounds, whining sounds on melting pot) Melting alloys to form metal in pot Pouring metal into molds Removing ceramic molds Maintaining the quality of metal to specifications/sample testing Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Good Computer Skills Operating various precision measuring devices and lifting devices HVAC Knowledge Chain Drives Electrical Knowledge

  • PLC knowledge is a plus Mechanical Knowledge (gearbox rebuilds, belt replacement, motor replacement) Conveyor Experience Hydraulics/Pneumatics Ability to read Blueprints and Schematics Plumbing Experience Read, write, and speak English Ability to safely perform the duties of the job as required Please send your resume to westbend@seekcareers.
