  • Job Title: Maintenance Technician
  • Job Description
  • We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role involves troubleshooting and maintaining all process and production equipment, as well as handling general building maintenance. You will repair and maintain plant process, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Troubleshoot and maintain all process and production equipment as well as general building maintenance.

+ Repair and maintain plant process, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

+ Design, implement, and manage preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment.

+ Install new equipment according to manufacturer specifications and management requirements.

+ Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt.

+ Work directly with engineers, machinists, assemblers, and machine operators.

+ Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned.

  • Essential Skills
  • + Excellent mechanical aptitude.

+ Familiar with electrical aspects and troubleshooting electronics.

+ Ability to read blueprints and assembly instructions provided by manufacturers.

+ Read, write, and understand English.

+ Read and interpret instructional electrical, hydraulic, and process systems drawings.

+ Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

+ Good troubleshooting skills coupled with a strong work ethic.

+ Self-starter with willingness to perform other related duties as required.

+ Able to work overtime as required.

+ High school diploma or GED.

  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + Prior experience in manufacturing maintenance and plastics manufacturing is a strong plus. + Knowledge of PLC systems and control systems is a plus. + Certificate in relevant expertise areas such as electrical, mechanical, and/or other areas is a plus.

  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
