RegularThe Maintenance General position is responsible for keeping the plant running and in compliance with all rules/regulations by using safe methods of equipment repair and upkeep. Starting Rate:

Schedule:
Nights shift 6pm to 6am 2/2/3 rotation Your role in achieving results: Troubleshoot equipment for electrical and mechanical systems. Install, update and repair equipment. Work closely with production to minimize downtime while maintaining high quality. Repair or replace valves and pumps (seals, steams, O rings, seats, bearings, etc.) as needed. Perform basic electrical wiring (switches, outlets, starter, motor leads, etc.) as needed. Perform basic pipe fitting as directed. Handle all equipment and chemicals safely. Maintain a good working knowledge of all process areas in the plant. Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices. Safety Protocol Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures. Correct or report any observed safety hazards. Support safety policies and programs. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. What we are looking for to deliver these results: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum one (1) year of related maintenance experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude required. Communicate well both verbally and in writing with managers and colleagues. Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work. Ability to apply logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, establish priorities, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines. Ability to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions; complete simple checklists and complete required documentation. Ability to work with minimum supervision, adapt to a changing environment quickly, and think independently. Ability to solve problems by adapting knowledge and experience.
