Job Description

Gunderson Inc is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management team within our uniform rental and facility services operations. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production, conveyor, and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment; diagnose equipment failures; read schematics; and document work in a CMMS. The technician will support continuous improvement, follow strict safety procedures, and partner closely with operations in a fast-paced, service-focused environment. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial, laundry, and facility equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime Inspect, adjust, and repair conveyors, pumps, motors, and control systems Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics Document work orders, parts usage, and equipment history in a CMMSSupport installation, commissioning, and modification of equipment and systems Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and PPE requirements Collaborate with operations and engineering to prioritize work and improve equipment reliability Identify and recommend process and reliability improvements Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work area Required Skills Industrial equipment maintenance Mechanical troubleshooting Electrical systems repair (3-phase, motors, controls) Preventive and predictive maintenance Hydraulics and pneumatics Welding and fabrication basics PLC/automation familiarity CMMS or maintenance work order systems Reading technical drawings and schematics Lockout/Tagout and safety procedures
