Job Description

The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for supporting various maintenance functions including but not limited to: troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, machine repairs, modifications to existing equipment and continuous improvement initiatives. Communicating with departments and operators on the status of machine troubleshooting/repairs. Develops and assists in process improvements and other duties as assigned. Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.

Maintenance Technician Duties:
Troubleshoot and repair machines and equipment. Read and work from blueprints, electrical schematics and manuals. Rebuild/modify and install/move machines and equipment as needed. Maintain and complete PM schedules on all machinery, equipment, tools and building/grounds. Repair and maintain physical structure of facility (interior and exterior). Communicate and schedule downtime to make repairs. Order and fabricate parts to maintain spare equipment and parts inventory. Provide suggestions and collaborate on continuous improvement/cost saving initiatives. Help maintain good housekeeping in work areas. Adhere to lockout tagout procedure and preforms all work safely. Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
5+ years of industrial mechanical and electrical experience. Some formal training, tech school or Associates Degree preferred. Familiarity with the field's concepts, practices and procedures. Experience with repairing and troubleshooting industrial machines. Background with PLC's and HMI a plus. Welding and fabrication skills desired/preferred. Basic computer skills. Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift items up to 50 lbs. in performance of duties.

From $27.00 per hour
