In this position, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance and appearance of the community, ensuring a safe, functional, and well maintained environment. This is a part-time position (24 hours per week) and includes participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency maintenance. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and appliances Complete work orders efficiently with a focus on timeliness and resident satisfaction Prepare vacant units for new move-ins, ensuring a high standard of readiness Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections Maintain common areas and grounds to uphold property standards Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed Respond to emergency maintenance calls as part of the on-call rotation Identify and communicate safety concerns or repair needs Support other area properties when needed Model Oakbrook's values What Sets You Apart Strong background in residential or multi-family maintenance Skilled in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair work Reliable and self-motivated with strong follow-through Personable, approachable, and able to build trust with residents Effective problem-solver with sound judgment Organized and able to manage responsibilities independently Requirements High school diploma or GED Trade certification or technical training preferred Valid driver's license Personal hand tools required About Oakbrook Corporation Oakbrook Corporation has proudly served the Midwest since 1987.
