  • We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ordering parts for rebuilds and corrective maintenance activities, operating production equipment, understanding simple drawings and wiring diagrams, and repairing mechanical equipment. This role requires proficiency in troubleshooting electrical components and control voltage problems, welding small repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.

  • Responsibilities
  • + Order parts for rebuilds and corrective maintenance activities.

+ Operate all production equipment in assigned area.

+ Understand simple drawings and wiring diagrams.

+ Troubleshoot and repair all mechanical equipment in assigned area.

+ Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase electrical components and control voltage problems.

+ Perform stick, MIG, or TIG welding for small repairs to prevent long-term downtime.

+ Proficiently conduct preventive maintenance on assigned equipment without supervision.

+ Use Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP proficiently.

+ Assist with training Maintenance Mechanic I and Operators on equipment.

+ Lead Root Cause Analysis activities where applicable.

+ Follow all safety policies and practices; proactively identify safety hazards and risks.

+ Perform all other duties as assigned.

  • Essential Skills
  • + Troubleshooting + Understanding schematics + Mechanical and electrical skills + Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge + Repair and PLC troubleshooting
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + Demonstrated ability to understand basic theory of plant equipment operation. + At least one year of experience at Level I or five years in a maintenance role. + Successful completion of Level II assessment. + Minimum high school diploma or GED. + Knowledge of PLC functionality. + Ability to test electrical and electronic equipment and components.

  • Work Environment
  • The work schedule is from 10 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday, following a normal third shift schedule. The role involves significant overtime, with some weeks requiring up to 55 hours of work. A $1 shift premium is offered.
  • Job Type & Location
  • This is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
