Maintenance Technician - 3rd
Shift Shift Differential:
Employees working this 3rd shift schedule are eligible for an additional 15% shift differential on top of their hourly wage. Opportunity Overview We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team on 3rd shift. This role is responsible for helping keep production equipment and facility systems operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. While previous maintenance experience is preferred, we are open to candidates who are mechanically inclined, enjoy hands-on work, have a positive attitude, and are eager to learn. Individuals with backgrounds in manufacturing, construction, automotive repair, farming, machine operation, military maintenance, or other mechanical environments are encouraged to apply. This is an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills, work with a supportive team, and build a long-term career in industrial maintenance. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on production equipment and facility systems. Assist with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment. Respond to equipment breakdowns and help minimize production downtime. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. Work closely with production and management teams to identify and resolve equipment issues. Help ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Support facility maintenance and sanitation-related maintenance activities as needed. What We're Looking For Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. Ability to use hand tools and perform hands-on repairs. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards. Preferred Qualifications Experience in maintenance, manufacturing, construction, automotive, farming, machine operation, or other mechanical trades. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, or industrial equipment is helpful but not required. Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, squat, and perform physical work throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to work in cool, wet, and moderate-noise conditions and around cleaning chemicals. Schedule 3rd Shift 15% shift differential paid in addition to base hourly wage Occasional weekend, holiday, and emergency call-in work may be required.
