Job Description
Urich Master Locksmiths, Inc. — Milwaukee, WI Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Generally 8:00 AM-3:30 PM Urich Master Locksmiths has been serving Milwaukee-area businesses and institutions since 1903. We're looking for an experienced commercial locksmith or door hardware technician to join our small, established team. This isn't an automotive locksmith position, and we're not looking for someone to spend the day running residential lockouts. Our work is primarily commercial and institutional, and we're looking for someone who enjoys the variety and challenge that comes with that kind of work. What You'll Work On Our technicians handle a wide variety of commercial locksmith and door hardware work, including:
- Commercial locksets and system integration
- Master key and restricted key systems
- Rekeying, troubleshooting, and repair
- Door closers and exit/panic hardware
- Mortise and cylindrical locking hardware
- Door and frame-related service
- Electrified hardware and access-control-related door work
- Commercial and institutional service calls Who We're Looking For The right person already has meaningful experience in commercial locksmithing, door hardware, or a closely related field. Just as important, you should be someone who:
- Takes pride in doing the job correctly
- Is dependable and able to work independently
- Is comfortable dealing directly with customers
- Can diagnose problems rather than simply replace parts
- Maintains a professional appearance and work area
- Communicates well with customers and coworkers
- Wants to be trusted to do the job without someone constantly looking over your shoulder A valid driver's license and good driving record are required.
