About Us Committed Contracting is a trusted residential and commercial contractor serving Wisconsin homeowners and businesses. We specialize in roofing, siding, windows, doors, remodeling, and outdoor structures including decks, pergolas, cabanas, and garages. We take pride in quality craftsmanship, a strong team culture, and getting the job done right. About the Role We're looking for a skilled, self-motivated Deck Builder to join our growing crew. This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of outdoor structure builds from start to finish; working independently or leading a small crew to deliver high-quality results for our customers. Responsibilities Lead or independently complete deck builds, pergolas, cabanas, and related outdoor structures Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and material specifications Measure, cut, and install materials including lumber, composite decking, posts, railings, and hardware with precision Ensure all builds meet structural, safety, and quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site throughout the workday Coordinate material needs and communicate project progress with the project manager Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and accurately Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company safety procedures at all times Mentor and guide laborers or helpers on site when applicable Perform end-of-day site cleanup and tool storage What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in deck building, carpentry, or a closely related construction trade Ability to read basic blueprints or project layouts Strong working knowledge of hand and power tools Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet in all weather conditions Comfortable working at heights and on ladders Dependable, punctual, and takes pride in the quality of their work Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on the job site Valid driver's license preferred OSHA 10 certification a plus (not required) What You'll Get Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity to grow into a lead crew or project management role Work with a close-knit, supportive team that values craftsmanship and quality Consistent hours and a steady project pipeline How to Apply Apply directly through Indeed or call our office at 262-476-0666 and ask for Jennifer.
