Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:
The overall responsibilities of the Lift Maintenance Technician/Mechanic Level 1 consist of but are not limited to: Maintenance and repair of all lift operations equipment under the supervision of Level 2 or Level 3 personnel. Depending on the skill level, the responsibilities may also include maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, diesel and hydraulic equipment. May include use of rigging, heavy equipment and hand tools. The specific duties of General/Fleet Mechanic shall include but not be limited to: Repair and maintenance of chairlifts and chairlift components Repair and maintenance of surface tows and related components Repair and maintenance of conveyor lifts and related components Keeping maintenance shop and tools in clean organized fashion Keeping record of work, progress of work orders, and parts inventory Facilitating preventative maintenance schedule Adherence to all company policies Planning work schedule and priority list with supervising technician weekly Communicate and strategize with supervising technician in regards to their equipment repair and maintenance needs Any tasks assigned by superiors in line with the goals of
Cascade Mountain Qualifications and Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Completed 2 years of applicable college level courses or 5 years of related work experience. Must work well with Team members. Must have strong organization skills. Hand and power tool experience. Must have valid driver's license.
Preferred Skills:
Basic computer experience and skills (i.e. excel, word, Microsoft office, etc.). Heavy equipment operation. General heavy equipment maintenance.
