Job Description

Strohwig Industries Inc is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support our precision manufacturing facility in Richfield, WI. In this role, you'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines, material handling equipment, and facility systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical issues, performing routine inspections, completing work orders, and supporting equipment installations. You'll work closely with production teams to minimize downtime while following strict safety and quality standards. This is a hands-on role with strong training, growth opportunities, and exposure to advanced machining technology. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and production equipment Troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical and electrical issues Conduct routine inspections and document findings in maintenance records Respond to maintenance work orders and prioritize tasks to reduce downtime Assist with equipment moves, installations, and setups Maintain tools, parts, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner Follow all safety, lockout/tagout, and company maintenance procedures Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues Required Skills Mechanical troubleshooting Basic electrical troubleshooting Preventive maintenance Reading technical manuals and schematics Use of hand and power tools CNC machine maintenance basics Lockout/Tagout procedures Safety and OSHA standards Work order and CMMS usage Welding or basic fabrication (plus)
