Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Hotel Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of hotel facilities, maintaining a safe, functional, and inviting environment for guests and staff. Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance will help uphold our high standards of quality and service. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hotel systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Operate tools such as welders, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to identify faults and execute repairs efficiently. Manage facilities maintenance tasks such as painting, welding, electrical work, and residential repairs to ensure a pristine environment. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels. Supervise or assist with subcontractors or team members during complex repairs or projects. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, safety checks, and compliance standards. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality or residential setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in schematics, electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and troubleshooting tools like ohmmeters. Skilled in welding, electrical repairs, residential painting, and general handyman tasks. Prior supervisory or leadership experience in maintenance teams or projects. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members and vendors. Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance tracking is preferred. Ability to read technical schematics and operate diagnostic tools confidently. Demonstrated customer service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction. $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
