Job Description
Equus Magnificus, Inc. is a small family-owned company founded in 2002, comprised of two divisions focusing on the well-being of horses. We are the manufacturer of The German Horse Muffin, a Premium Treat for horses. Our products sell nationwide, and we are currently expanding internationally. We are an ambitious company with a fast-paced environment. You will join a motivated and passionate team.

5:30am- 4:00pm, 10 hour days. Monday-Thursday Role and Responsibilities This position is pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation of industry specific machinery, and ensuring our facilities and equipment perform effectively and efficiently.
- Performing preventive maintenance.
- Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
- Diagnosing faults and fixing technical issues.
- Inspect on a daily, weekly, monthly schedule as required.
- Maintains records on preventative maintenance and basic repairs.
- Manages parts inventory on all equipment. Routine maintenance and repairs of the facility.
- Inspects the building and grounds on daily, weekly, monthly schedule as required.
- General carpentry, electrical, plumbing.
- Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
- Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Seasonal duties as required (example
- ice melt by entry ways). Responsible for operations in the warehouse.
- Receives and counts all incoming orders.
- Notifies office manager.
- Stages all outgoing orders. Double checks count with paperwork.
- Assures truck drivers are leaving with their paperwork.
- Load all outgoing orders into trucks.
- Shrink wrap finished product and place into correct bay in pallet racking.
- Keep warehouse organized
- bag inventory, pallet storage, etc.
- Maintain overall cleanliness
- floors, work areas. Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
- Proven maintenance skills/experience.
- Advanced technical equipment skills/experience.
- Computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts when applicable.
- Ability to check repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary.
- Strong organizational and follow up skills.
- High school diploma.
