Quality Packaging Inc. is looking for a reliable Maintenance Support Technician to join our tight-knit team in Fond du Lac, WI. If you thrive in a fast-paced production environment and love the satisfaction of fixing things right the first time — this role is for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Keep production running: perform urgent on-the-spot repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs) on time — every time.
Own equipment safety:
verify safety switches are functioning and ensure pinch points and hazards are clearly marked.
Handle facility upkeep:
tackle building repairs (doorknobs, door closures, and more) quickly and efficiently. Retool and set up equipment as needed to support production demands. Maintain a clean, organized parts room so the right part is always easy to find. Process internal repair orders for full accountability and transparent tracking.
Drive downtime reduction:
your goal is to minimize disruptions and maximize output.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing service environment. Self-starter mentality — you don't wait to be told, you spot a problem and fix it. Solid mechanical aptitude and the ability to carry out written and oral instructions. Strong communication skills and a true team-player attitude. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for the majority of your shift. Good close and color vision with the ability to adjust focus (working with machinery and detailed parts).

  • 30/hour Experienced Technician (3-7 years of experience): $32
  • 38/hour Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM
  • 3:30 PM — no rotating nights or weekends by default.

This role is primarily on the production floor — a moderately noisy environment where you'll be on your feet and moving.
