Job Description

Title Maintenance Technician Department Production Reports To Plant Manager Job Summary A growing Manufacturing company is seeking an individual with a good work ethic, who are interested in pursuing a career in a manufacturing factory that produces screens for the window and door industry. As maintenance technician, you are a key worker who is tasked to perform many duties and jobs on our production floor by the department supervisor and/or the plant manager in a safe manner. These important maintenance jobs enable Screenco to be the leading supplier to window and door manufacturers in North America. Essential Job Functions Can include some or all of the following:
  • Measure parts using a tape measure (imperial and metric units)
  • Quality control
  • Operate various tool room equipment (lathe, milling machine, surface grinder,….)
  • Troubleshooting and repair production equipment (gear boxes, pneumatics, electrical, hydraulic)

  • Available for shift work
  • Production experience in a continuous improvement workplace is an asset
  • Must own their own trades tools.

$25.00 - $36.00 per hour
