Maintenance Technician Job Summary:
Pridestaff is working with a local healthcare waste management and compliance company that is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. The Maintenance Technician will service, maintain, and troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment at the company's waste treatment facility. The Maintenance Technician may be required to travel within the U.S. to support other facilities. The ideal Maintenance Technician has experience in mechanical repairs, identifying electrical issues, welding, and the ability to troubleshoot PLC-controlled machines. The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, direct-hire position in Sturdivant, WI.
Maintenance Technician Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, Repair & Service Equipment Schedule Spare Parts & Manage Travel Schedule Through Communication with the Service & Maintenance Team Install Equipment & Machine Upgrades Adhering to Set Timeline & Budget Collaborate with Internal Teams Including Plant Operations, Global Operations & Suppliers Arrange Downtime to Complete Required Maintenance with Operations Manager/Plant Supervisors Update Report of weekly Tasks Completed and Pending Provide Remote Assistance to Plants as Issues Arise to keep Production on Schedule Maintain Inventory at Individual Plants; Management will Ensure Plants are Stocked Effectively Manage & Prioritize Tasks to Achieve the Necessary Goals Follow all
Company Safety Policies & Procedures Maintenance Technician Job Requirements:
HS Diploma or GED Equivalent Must Have Experience in Maintenance of Mechanical Assemblies & Production Equipment (Including Robotic Washlines, Autoclaves & Boilers) Welding Experience is Required Must have Electrical Experience & the Ability to Identify Electrical Issues & Communicate Fault Conditions Must Have the Ability to Troubleshoot PLC-Controlled Machines & Provide Support by Phone as Needed The Ability to be Proactive & Identify Potential Issues & Take Precautions Before Equipment Failure Must Be Able to Communicate Clearly (both Verbal & Written) Must be Able to Stand, Walk, Balance, Stoop, Kneel, Crouch & Crawl Must be Able to Lift to 50
