Job Description
LS Industries employs and supports staff for small businesses throughout the Central Wisconsin area . We are currently hiring on behalf of ABC Rental Management for a Maintenance Technician with immediate HVAC knowledge in the Wausau Area to join our growing rental management team. We are looking for 2 years of experience in the apartment maintenance field and a willingness to continue learning and take on new challenges. What You'll Do This position will perform a wide range of maintenance and repair work, including: Apartment and residential property maintenance Unit turns Painting and drywall repairs Flooring installation and repairs Lock and hardware replacement Appliance troubleshooting and repair Intermediate Plumbing and electrical repairs Intermediate HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance Preventative maintenance General day-to-day repairs Troubleshooting and diagnosing maintenance issues Other property maintenance duties as needed What We're Looking For 2+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience Intermediate knowledge of HVAC systems Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills Detail-oriented and dependable Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks Ability to maintain electronic worksheets and documents Willingness to learn and expand your skills Valid driver's license and good driving record Reliable vehicle Smartphone We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and is willing to put in the extra effort to get the job done right. Requirements Valid driver's license Good driving record required to operate company trucks Reliable personal vehicle Smartphone Ability to meet deadlines and follow through on assigned work Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently when needed Must be able to work 35+ hours per week for benefits eligibility Pay & Benefits $22-$30/hour, based on experience and abilities Your wage will increase based on your reliability, work ethic, attitude, performance, and skill level .
