Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion Must be courteous, polite, and efficient at all times Preparation of vacant units for occupancy, including coordination of third-party vendors Estimate time and extent of repairs Perform routine preventive maintenance Prepare vacant apartments for new residents Maintain material and supply inventory Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary Available to respond to emergency calls after hours
Qualifications:
Must be a self-starter Ability to use computer software programs Experience in maintenance or other related fields Ability and skills in using maintenance tools and equipment such as drills, saws, voltage meters, drain cleaner, snow blowers, etc. HVAC, electrical, and plumbing knowledge necessary Snow Removal for East Side Properties EPA Certification preferred Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and blueprints Ability to apply common sense Ability to adjust workload and shift priorities when required Reliable transportation Possess tools Ability to handle physical workload Physically capable of lifting at least 50 pounds Possess a valid driver's license and insurance Deadline and detail-oriented
