Overview Job Summary Maintenance Technician - New Haven, WV We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our apartment community team!
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs. Respond to resident service requests in a timely manner Prepare apartments for new residents (painting, cleaning, basic repairs). Maintain grounds and common areas.

Basic knowledge of maintenance Previous experience preferred but not required Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work independently

Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, appliances, and structural components to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Conduct residential painting, welding, and other cosmetic repairs to maintain property aesthetics. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule upcoming tasks. Assist with supervising or mentoring junior maintenance staff or contractors during projects or repairs. Follow safety protocols diligently while handling electrical systems, welding equipment, or working at heights. Communicate effectively with residents regarding maintenance requests and provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction.
Pay:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
