About the Opportunity Solaris is looking for a motivated PM Maintenance Technician to join our team. The PM Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing Repair and service for Solaris products and equipment that deploy to oil and gas locations in the United States. This position is located at one of our facilities in an active oil and gas area. Potential travel can be expected during scheduled shifts to customer locations to provide onsite customer support to ensure successful operation of the equipment. This position will work under the direction of the Regional Maintenance Advisor. Essential Functions
  • Repair and maintenance of fleet consisting of:
  • Generators, trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and attachments
  • Cummins, Caterpillar, and John Deere engines
  • Air Compressor equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to test components
  • Perform quality inspections prior to returning the unit to work
  • Maintain records of service and repairs
  • Maintain and track supplies & inventory
  • Keep shop clean and organized at all times
  • Able to learn fast and work independently with a self-starter mentality
  • Able to work under pressure and in varying weather conditions
  • Desire to work in a team-oriented culture, with ability to exercise sound independent judgement to support the customer and the company
  • Possesses computer skills and knowledge of computer-based programs
  • Possesses strong interpersonal communication skills. Will be expected to communicate efficiently with coworkers, managers and customers on a regular basis.
