What You'll Do Pull and route CAT5, CAT6, and fiber optic cabling Organize, dress, label, and prepare cable for termination Install cable pathways including J-hooks, cable tray, D-rings, and trapeze systems Build and install telecommunications closets, racks, patch panels, and related hardware Install grounding for racks, equipment, and cabling systems Perform fire-stopping procedures and install sleeves as required Terminate low-voltage devices and cabling systems Assist with testing and troubleshooting cabling installations Complete project documentation accurately and on time Follow all safety, quality, and installation standards Support additional project tasks as assigned What You Bring Experience with structured cabling installations Experience pulling CAT5, CAT6, and/or fiber optic cabling Experience terminating copper and/or fiber cabling Experience working in commercial construction environments Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work effectively as part of a team Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills Nice to Have Data center experience Fiber termination experience Experience using Fluke or Versiv testing equipment Experience building IDF/MDF closets Knowledge of industry color codes and labeling standards Fiber splicing experience Why Apply? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
