In this role, you will install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain voice and data cabling, paging systems, and other low-voltage communication systems at customer locations. You will play a key role in delivering reliable network and communications infrastructure while providing exceptional customer service. This position offers an excellent opportunity to expand your technical skills in a fast-paced environment where every project is unique. Responsibilities Install, terminate, label, test, and certify structured cabling systems, including Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, fiber optic, and coaxial cable. Install and service commercial paging, intercom, and overhead audio systems. Install cable pathways including conduit, cable tray, J-hooks, surface raceway, and other cable support systems. Install, terminate, and organize network racks, cabinets, patch panels, telecommunications equipment, and associated hardware. Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to complete installations accurately. Diagnose and troubleshoot structured cabling, network connectivity, and paging system issues using appropriate testing equipment. Perform system testing and verification to ensure installations meet customer expectations and industry standards. Work independently or as part of a team on new construction, renovations, and service calls. Communicate professionally with customers regarding project status, system operation, and recommended solutions. Follow all company safety policies and job site requirements while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Accurately document completed work, test results, service reports, and as-built information. Skills & Qualifications Experience installing and servicing structured cabling systems in commercial or industrial environments. Knowledge of voice and data cabling, including Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, fiber optic, and coaxial cable. Experience installing or troubleshooting commercial paging and intercom systems is preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and network documentation. Experience terminating and testing copper and fiber optic cabling using industry-standard tools and certification equipment. Familiarity with telecommunications rooms, network racks, patch panels, cable management, and low-voltage infrastructure. Construction or low-voltage installation experience is highly preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, operate lifts, and work in ceilings and other construction environments. Why Join Us?
