The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, computer networking, and security solutions, with the ability to work independently in the field. This role offers opportunities to work on diverse projects involving surveillance, fire alarms, access control, and telecommunication systems, ensuring safety and security for our clients. Responsibilities Install, configure, and troubleshoot low voltage systems including Fiber optics, Cat. 6/6A, Outside plant, APs, CCTV, systems. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately complete system installations. Perform cabling and wiring using hand tools and power tools in construction or retrofit environments. Conduct system testing and commissioning to ensure proper operation of network cabling systems. Maintain detailed documentation of installations, service reports, and system configurations. Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met efficiently. Adhere to NEC codes and safety standards during all phases of installation and maintenance. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician or installer specializing in low voltage systems such as Fiber optics, Cat. 6/6A, Outside plant, APs, CCTV, systems. and basic knowledge of data and telecommunication networks. Mechanical knowledge related to construction practices and the use of hand tools and power tools. Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for low voltage systems. Electrical experience including cabling techniques compliant with NEC standards is essential. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot basic network issues on-site. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation for field service work is required. This position requires a dedicated professional capable of managing multiple projects while maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all work performed.
