Cable Technicians

Job Description A company in San Diego is looking for Cable Assembly Technicians to join their team for a program supporting the Navy. The cable technicians will aggregate cables and build connectors. The technicians will be working on equipment rack internal cabling. The majority of connectors are cannon connectors. Cable sizes are large

• ranging from 26 to 8 gauge.

Assemblies range in complexity with duration of completion ranging from 1 hour to 10 hours. • 1 year of experience doing cable assembly within a manufacturing setting
• Ability to read drawings and schematics
• Experience working with basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, crimpers, wire strippers, etc.)
• Experience with cutting and stripping cable, crimping lugs, crimping pins, and working with connectors.
• Basic soldering experience
• Electronics or wiring experience
• Fiber qualified
