Job Description
Cable Repair Technician Hiring Urgently | Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 10:00 AM-6:30 PM A busy entertainment lighting rental company is seeking an experienced Cable Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair cables and electronic equipment returned from rentals and live events. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, technically savvy, and able to take ownership of multiple repair projects. Responsibilities Inspect returned equipment and cables to identify defects or operational issues Test equipment to determine functionality and troubleshoot problems Perform cable and electrical/electronic repairs Use a multimeter/volt-meter to take and interpret electrical readings Perform soldering and electronic component repairs Read and understand electrical/electronic schematics Determine when equipment may require manufacturer repair or return Maintain equipment according to company standards Complete repair and maintenance reports Follow all company safety guidelines Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Communicate professionally with internal departments Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED 2+ years of experience in electrical/cable repair Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic troubleshooting Experience with soldering, multimeters, and electrical/electronic diagnostics Ability to read and understand schematics Comfortable working with electronic components and equipment Basic to strong computer skills; MS Office/Excel experience is a plus Ability to speak, read, and write English Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple projects Schedule Monday-Friday 10:00 AM-6:30 PM Urgent Hiring — Apply Today!
