We install and service alarms, cameras, access control, networking, and home automation for high-end homes, estates, and commercial campuses, from Laguna Beach to Santa Barbara. This is the person who runs the job, not just the devices. You own the install from the plan to a working system the client can use, and you direct the other techs on site. What you will do Run a low-voltage project from start to finish (alarm, access, cameras, AV, lighting, network) Read plans, spot what will not work, and get it resolved before it costs a day Direct other techs so the day stays efficient Troubleshoot wiring, power, programming, and equipment failures, and decide the short-term fix vs the right long-term fix Commission systems and train the client on how they actually work Keep the office current on progress, parts, and what the job still needs Same field work as the crew when that is what the day needs: pull, terminate, rack dress, cameras, alarms, access, AV What you need 10+ years in low-voltage install and commissioning Able to manage and direct others on a jobsite Computer skills for configuring, managing, and diagnosing systems Clear communication with clients, GCs, and the office Valid California driver's license and a driving record we can insure Able to pass a background check Able to lift 50 pounds and work on ladders and active jobsites Your own basic hand tools Nice to have Avigilon, Bosch, Crestron, Control4, Savant, Atlona, Ubiquiti, Binary, Inovonics, Sony, Life Safety Power, Belden, RTI Network configuration beyond basic IP setup Schedule and pay Monday to Friday, day shift, 8-hour days.
