About Us One26Group is a home automation company specializing in modern smart home solutions, including audio/video, networking, security, and integrated control systems. We are looking to expand our team what a dependable and motivated Low Voltage Technician. Job Description The Low Voltage Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems in residential and light commercial settings. Responsibilities Install, configure, and troubleshoot low voltage systems (audio/video, security, networking, smart home automation) Run, terminate, and test wiring (Cat5/6, speaker wire, coax, etc.) Mount and configure equipment such as TVs, cameras, access points, and control panels Troubleshoot and resolve system issues Maintain clean and professional job sites Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose issues and ensure system integrity. Communicate effectively with team members and clients Experience Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or Service Technician installing cameras and/or low voltage systems (required) IT and/or networking experience preferred Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts such as LAN (Local Area Network), VLANs (Virtual Local Area Networks), and Ethernet cabling (Cat5/Cat6). Hands-on experience with fiber splicing techniques and fiber optic cabling installation. Familiarity with CCTV systems installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Electrical experience related to low voltage wiring standards (NEC compliance) and power tools operation.
