Low Voltage Cable Technician

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Low Voltage Cable Technician for a project in

Deland, FL PAY:

$28-30/hour (based upon experience)

HOURS:

Shifts will be 8-hour workdays (Plus Overtime) 5 days per week

SCHEDULE

Workdays will be Monday- Friday, 4:00 pm-2:00 am

START DATE

ASAP Duration:

3+ months We're looking for dependable techs who can hit the ground running with installation, termination, and device work in active job sites and new construction environments.

Qualifications Of Low Voltage Cable Technician:

Install low voltage systems including: Access control (card readers, door contacts, motion REX) CCTV, intercoms, speakers, and paging systems Nurse call systems, push buttons, patient stations Motion detectors, glass break sensors Pull, terminate, test, and label low-voltage cabling Perform comm room build-outs Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and wiring diagrams Follow direction from Site Superintendent/PM Ensure all work meets AHJ codes and industry standards Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas ✅

Requirements:

2+ years of commercial low voltage experience Experience with structured cabling, security, CCTV, A/V, or access control Ability to obtain a Florida JLA (Jessica Lunsford Act) badge Must have reliable transportation Strong communication and teamwork skill Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
