Responsibilities:
  • Pull, terminate, dress, and label
CAT6/CAT6A
cable
  • Pull, terminate and test fiber optic cabling. Fusion splicing experience is a PLUS
  • Test installed cable (Fluke or similar testers)
  • Punch down voice and data jacks
  • Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
  • Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)
  • Read and interpret blueprints/system layouts
  • Install/support access control, CCTV, audio visual, and fiber optic systems
Requirements:
  • 1+ years commercial/industrial low voltage experience
  • Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred
  • BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus
  • Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
  • Working knowledge of telecom/data networks
