Required; see provided requirements What You'll Do Pull, route, support, dress, label, and terminate Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling. Install patch panels, jacks, racks, cabinets, J-hooks, cable tray, ladder rack, and related pathway hardware. Perform basic copper testing and assist with certification and fiber testing as trained. Follow floor plans, drawings, cable schedules, labeling plans, and instructions from lead installers. Maintain clean and organized cable routing while following standards for support, separation, bend radius, and firestopping. Update labels, test records, material notes, and as-built documentation. Safely operate hand tools, ladders, lifts, and testing equipment. Maintain a clean work area and protect customer property. Assist with managing tools and materials. Communicate project progress, material needs, and job-site issues to the lead installer or project manager. Represent the company professionally on every job site. Requirements Approximately 1-3 years of structured cabling, low-voltage, telecommunications, or related field experience. Hands-on experience pulling, dressing, labeling, and terminating copper cabling. Basic knowledge of Cat6/Cat6A, patch panels, keystone jacks, racks, J-hooks, and cable tray. Ability to read basic floor plans, cable schedules, labels, and written instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to clean, quality workmanship. Safety-first mindset and ability to work effectively as part of a crew. Comfortable using a mobile device and applications such as Teams or Outlook for field communication. Valid Florida driver's license, clean driving record Ability to pass required background checks for government and controlled-access sites. Flexibility to work occasional early starts, overtime, evenings, or weekends when project needs require. Preferred Qualifications BICSI Installer 1 certification or progress toward a BICSI credential. Experience with Cat6A or fiber optic cabling. Experience using Fluke testing equipment. Commercial telecommunications room experience. OSHA 10, lift certification, or other current safety training. Experience on commercial, healthcare, education, government, or DoD projects. Exposure to access control, video surveillance, audio/video, or public safety DAS systems.
