What you'll do Operate detection equipment to locate and mark all facility types and all ticket types in any area Mentor other Locators with challenging tickets Troubleshoot difficult locates and help in locating high-profile cable lines Performs audits or damage investigations as assigned by supervisor Help supervisor and dispatch with assigning tickets when needed Respond promptly and courteously to excavation notices Communicate well with excavators, utility representatives, and company staff Document all locates Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed Perform work in all weather conditions What you'll need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience A minimum of four years locating experience Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record Physical abilities & exposures
Routinely :
work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle, bend, stoop, stand, walk, squeeze, fine hand motion, lift up to 55 pounds, use keyboard and mouse
Occasionally :
