Full Job Description Position:
Cable Technician Location:
west palm florida
Work Arrangement:
1099 Independent Contractor We are seeking reliable technicians to complete residential cable and internet installations throughout the florida area. This opportunity suits individuals with experience in telecommunications, coax, fiber, or home service installations who enjoy practical work and customer interaction. Your Responsibilities
  • Travel to assigned residential locations for installation and service appointments.
  • Route coaxial and/or fiber cabling from exterior connection points into homes.
  • Set up, connect, and activate internet and related telecommunications equipment.
  • Check signal quality, test connections, and troubleshoot basic service problems.
  • Safely use ladders to reach exterior lines and connection points.
  • Maintain neat workmanship and follow installation standards.
  • Show customers how to use their newly installed equipment.
  • Keep dispatchers and supervisors informed of job progress.
  • Accurately complete service records after each appointment. What We're Looking For
  • Previous cable or telecommunications experience preferred. Please include the type of installations you have completed and your length of experience.
  • Conversational English skills for customer communication and job coordination.
  • A valid U.S. driver's license and Social Security number.
  • Ability to handle physical installation tasks and work safely on ladders.
  • Dependability, professionalism, and a customer-focused approach.
Vehicle & Tools Applicants should have a reliable white or light silver minivan, pickup truck, or SUV with sufficient space for installation supplies. Technicians must also provide the tools and equipment needed for residential cable installation work.
Pay:
$1,500.00
