Full Job Description Reports to:
Fiber Construction Manager Responsibilities:
Work on small horizontal directional drilling projects Prepare a worksite to locate utilities and eliminate possible hazards Load, unload and transport construction materials and tools Hand dig to clear debris for an operator Check utilities and clearances Safely and efficiently operate tools and equipment based on job requirements, including locating utilities Fuse and prepare HDPE pipe, assemble fittings and parts to specifications. Assist with drilling fluid mixing and clean-up Assist with job site clean-up Perform other duties as assigned Operate hand and power tools Ability to safely backup trailer and/or move equipment Demonstrate how to safely dig in areas with other utilities nearby Participate in traffic control Outside work with exposure to weather Work well with others on the team Maintain safety for yourself and others
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Candidates with experience are preferred Have you ever installed conduit and fiber optic cables?
