Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair fiber optic cables and equipment
- Perform fiber optic splicing and termination
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fiber optic networks
- Conduct testing and analysis to ensure proper functioning of fiber optic systems
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with fiber optic equipment
Experience:
- Previous experience working with fiber optics preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles
- Familiarity with low voltage systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
