Low Voltage Technician

Low Voltage Technician Solutions Technology Group, LLC Trigg County, KY Overview Solutions Technology Group is expanding our field operations team. We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Field Systems Technician to assist in the deployment of advanced security and networking infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical variety, from physical hardware installation to infrastructure cabling.

What You'll Be Doing:

Physical Security Deployment:

Installing and mounting IP security cameras and sophisticated access control hardware.

Network Infrastructure:

Running and terminating Ethernet/data cabling and installing wireless access points or point-to-point radios.

System Assembly:

Helping build out technical control enclosures and equipment panels.

Site Support:

Assisting the lead technicians with on-site problem-solving and various installation tasks as projects evolve.

What We're Looking For:

Reliability:

A professional with a strong work ethic who shows up ready to solve problems.

Mechanical Aptitude:

Comfort using power tools and hand tools; experience in carpentry or electrical work is highly valued.

Physical Capability:

You should be comfortable working on ladders, operating scissor/man lifts, and navigating confined technical spaces.

Professionalism:

You will be a face of the company at client sites; a clean driving record and professional demeanor are required.

Bonus Points For:

Prior experience in IT, networking, or low-voltage systems. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and general computer literacy. Knowledge of electrical safety standards and proper PPE usage.
